Get into the festive spirit with this Sparkling Blood Orange Mocktail! ⁠

Take advantage of what’s in-season by using beautiful blood oranges, which not only pack a sweet citrus punch but also have immune-boosting properties! Vitamin C is something we all need in these winter months, so why not incorporate it where you can! Honey adds a slight sweetness, while vanilla adds a complexity that is often missed in mocktails! ⁠

Use sparkling water to top it off, or if you’re looking for even more flavour try kombucha!⁠

Super easy and great to make ahead – try out this mocktail for your next holiday party.⁠


  • 8 oz. blood orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz. lime sparkling water
  • blood orange slices for garnish


  1. Squeeze the blood orange juice into a mason jar with a lid or cocktail shaker. Add the honey and vanilla extract to the unchilled juice. Shake. Add ice to cool it down.
  2. Pour evenly into two ice-filled glasses. Top with lime sparkling water and a slice of blood orange on top. Cheers! Enjoy right away.
