Beat the heat with this delicious and hydrating smoothie, perfect for a summer breakfast or a midday snack!
Why It’s Hydrating:
- Cucumber: Did you know that cucumbers are composed of almost 95% water?! It’s one of the most water-rich vegetables! They also contain electrolytes such as potassium and magnesium which help regulate fluid balance in the body.
- Mango: Mangos are also rich in water (83% water content!) and also contain vitamin C, antioxidants, dietary fiber, and natural sugars that are great for a quick energy boost on those hot summer days!
- Mint: Mint contains menthol which can have a cooling effect on the body, providing a refreshing burst of flavour.
Not to mention – this recipe is Metabolic Balance friendly! It’s a great breakfast option (enjoy with hard boiled eggs or another protein!).

Ingredients
- 140g frozen mango
- Fresh ginger (to taste)
- 150 ml water
- 35g cucumber
- 40g avocado
- 12-15 mint leaves
- 1 tsp-1 tbsp lime juice (to taste)
Directions

Combine all ingredients to a blender – taste and adjust if needed (extra lime, ginger, etc.)
- Serve for breakfast (with boiled eggs or a protein if you’re following our Metabolic Balance Program!) or as a snack.
