Goal Setting for 2020

Welcome to 2020. A new year has started and we are entering a new decade. Let’s take a moment together and explore how we would like to show up in our lives from this moment on. Goal setting can feel overwhelming at times. Bringing our goals and dreams to fruition doesn’t have to be a daunting experience when they are in alignment with our mind, body and soul. Let’s explore goal setting for 2020 in three easy steps.

Step 1: Turn within

Take a moment to find a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted for 5 to 10 mins. Take a deep breath in and close your eyes. Ask yourself an important question and notice what arises. What change o I feel called to make in my life that would serve my highest good, mentally, physically, and spiritually? Notice what arises without judgment. This is a great way to discover an authentic goal that you may be called to work towards.

Step 2: Write it down

Take a moment to write it down. Write down all of the details of what came up for you when you asked yourself the question above. Make sure your goal is clear.

Step3: How will you get there?

What are three easy steps that will take me closer to my goal? Sometimes getting started can feel like we are stuck in neutral with a great idea. Think about three easy things you can do and accomplish that bring you closer to your goal. When you’ve completed those three steps, take a pause and re-evaluate then proceed to creating three more.

What we just walked through is: Can I see it? Can I bring it to fruition? Can I take action? Yes you can! When we turn within and seek guidance for our next goal from our internal compass, we are also awakening passion, motivation and placing ourselves in alignment with our mind, body and soul.

You are capable of living the life you want, let 2020 be the start to answering the call from within.
