Replacing alcoholic cocktails with mocktails can offer numerous benefits. Mocktails provide a fun and refreshing alternative that can help you stay hydrated, avoid unnecessary calories, and reduce the intake of alcohol, which can be dehydrating and detrimental to health when consumed in excess. Enjoying mocktails can also ensure that everyone, including children and those who prefer not to drink alcohol, can join in the celebration with a delicious and festive beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice this is the juice of about 6 lemons
  • 3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup or Honey if you like a sweeter drink, you can increase the amount to 1/4 cup
  • 2 Cups Coconut Water
  • ½ Cup Freeze Dried Raspberries or strawberries
  • 2 Sprigs Fresh Mint optional; for garnishing

Directions

  1. Start by slicing your lemons in half and juicing them. I like to juice them into a small bowl or glass, so that I can remove the seeds, if needed.
  2. Next, transfer the juice into your blender, and add in the maple syrup or honey, coconut water, and the freeze-dried raspberries (or strawberries!).
  3. Blend until it is smooth- this should take approximately 30-45 seconds.
  4. Once it’s done, add a handful of ice cubes to your glass and pour your refresher on top.
  5. Top with a garnish of mint, if desired, then serve and enjoy!

*If you can’t find freeze dried raspberries – try frozen raspberries or strawberries! The texture will be slightly different, but just as delicious.
